East Jakarta PPKUKM Ensures Health Protocols Implemented in Markets

East Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency checked the implementation of COVID-19 prevention protocols at Kramat Jati Central Market, Lokbin Makasar, and Lokbin Susukan.

East Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency Head, Igan Muhammad Faisal stated, his side wanted to ensure all business places under East Jakarta PPKUKM have implemented COVID-19 prevention protocols, especially in the transition period of Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB).

"We always monitoring whether health protocols are implemented in business places or not. If there is a violation, we will report Satpol PP to impose sanction," he asserted, Monday (6/29).

In this monitoring, his side educated and encouraged the small medium enterprises (SMEs) to support government's policies in handling COVID-19 pandemic.

Kramat Jati Central Market Manager, Agus Lamun stated, his side has implemented COVID-19 prevention protocols by providing 20 sinks in strategic areas in the market, checking people's body temperature before entering the market and requiring visitors and merchants to wear mask in the market. Moreover, his side also deployed 32 COVID-19 Task Force personnel to monitor the area regularly.

"Now, our tenants and visitors are used to wear mask. Thanks for assistance from joint team who have monitored the area regularly," he conveyed.
